3 Smoothies I Want to Try

Smoothies have been a struggle for me since they became a thing. I’m not sure why that is, but no matter how often I attempt to choke one down, I just can’t. In fact, I have only ever drank one or two that were even good to me. Now, everyone else in my home is perfectly fine with them. It’s just me! I have been doing some research though and since I am making more of an effort to eat better (I know you’ve heard that better!)

After doing a lot of research I have discovered three smoothies that I want to give a try this fall. They are each something that I think I could enjoy but also the three that have made it onto my shopping list. I will of course circle back to this and let y’all know if they were as good as I thought and how they looked after I made them.

Apple Crisp Smoothie

The Apple Crisp Smoothie from The Recipe Rebel sounds so good. I mean I love apples and they are such a fall item for me. It has apples, oats, and cinnamon all of which I love. The only thing I’m a little nervous about is the Greek yogurt. I have tried to like it but I just don’t. So O’m wondering if I could substitute it for something else or maybe even almond milk. I’m not sure but I am going to try the original and then maybe play with the recipe and get back to you it. If I adjust the recipe at all I will certainly share my new recipe either with you here or with my other recipes over on Rita Reviews.

Salted Caramel Apple Cinnamon Smoothie

I already told you I like apple so the Salted Caramel Apple Cinnamon from Maebells can’t be a surprise. This is not an overly healthy smoothie. I mean the apples are the healthiest item on the list but I want to try it and then maybe adapt it a little bit. I think it could end up being a great smoothie. Although this way it is the perfect treat for the family.

Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie

The Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie from Fit Foodie Finds sounds like it wouldn’t be healthy but it is. It is full pf protein. It has bananas, peanut butter, and spinach among other things. I think it will become one I like to have before a workout. At least that is my hope. We shall have to wait and see.

Those are the three smoothies that I want to try for the fall. Although I admit I may add a fourth with some sort of pumpkin flavor just because it is the season for pumpkins soon. After all it is still hot as balls here in Georgia. If the weather would cool down a little I would be so thankful. I love the fall and all the flavors that it brings to the table.
